Why We Built This Site
Texas provides several forms of public record access, yet each custodian answers a different question. The Llano County Sheriff's Office creates arrest and booking material and runs the jail. The District Clerk keeps felony files, while the County Clerk handles Class A and B misdemeanor files. Texas DPS maintains reported statewide criminal-history cycles, TDCJ holds state custody information, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry publishes the registration fields permitted by law. The site brings together official contacts, request paths, search tools, and researched fee details without treating those records as interchangeable.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: how to reach Llano County clerks, the sheriff, and the official statewide systems
- Official check steps: how Texas DPS name searches differ from a FAST fingerprint personal review
- Record guides: how court case files are found and read in Llano County
- Record relief context: where Texas expunction and nondisclosure rules route a person and the filing clerk's role
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Texas court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those limits mean the site cannot:
- Provide certified copies of court documents, criminal records, or rap sheets
- Pull a record or perform an official background check for a reader
- Give legal advice about a charge, warrant, case, expunction, or nondisclosure
- Submit public-information requests, petitions, or other filings for anyone
- Promise that an agency's fee, address, telephone number, or procedure has not changed
Only the custodian, such as a Llano County clerk, the sheriff, or Texas DPS, can issue or certify its record. This resource can identify that office, but it cannot supply the official document.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports free access to the site. We do not set the provider's charges and cannot control or certify the information it returns.
