Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of Llano County Criminal History. Visiting a page, reading its content, or submitting a search means that you accept every condition below. If you disagree with any condition, stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. This privately owned website is not tied to any local, Texas, or federal government body. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a service designed for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to help readers locate Llano County, Texas criminal-record resources. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site operated independently from government. It does not store official criminal records and cannot retrieve a record, perform an official check, or submit a filing on anyone's behalf.

The content identifies custodians of Llano County criminal records, including the Sheriff's Office, county court clerks, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. It may also connect readers to outside tools useful for lawful research. Government information requests remain subject to the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, while DPS criminal-history dissemination is governed by Government Code Chapter 411.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you agree not to:

  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against the pages
  • Violate a federal, Texas, or local law through your use of the site
  • Attempt to enter restricted systems or obtain unauthorized access
  • Use information to stalk, threaten, or harass another person
  • Use site content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information from the site or a linked service to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also be criminal. Texas law places specific limits on the use of Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data and provides penalties for misuse. Registry information exists for public safety awareness, not retaliation, vigilantism, blacklisting, or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. The same is true of services offered through our advertising partners for purposes of this site. You must not use information from a linked tool or these pages to:

  • Set insurance premiums or evaluate creditworthiness
  • Make a hiring or termination decision
  • Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public benefit
  • Make any other decision regulated by the FCRA

A check needed for a regulated purpose must come from the Texas Department of Public Safety or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

The site does not provide legal advice. General explanations of Llano County records cannot establish how a charge, warrant, conviction, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to an individual matter. Seek advice from a licensed Texas attorney.

6. No Warranties

All site content is supplied "as is." No guarantee is made that:

  • Partner search results will be complete or correct
  • Every page is free from errors, defects, or security weaknesses
  • The website will operate at all times without interruption
  • Information will always be current, accurate, and complete

Charges may be filed or dismissed, and records may later be restricted, corrected, or expunged. Gaps can occur even when content is reviewed. Nothing published here is an official statement from the sheriff, a clerk, a court, or another government entity.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to sheriff pages, court systems, Texas agencies, legal resources, or outside search providers. Those destinations are beyond our control. We are not responsible for their information, privacy practices, pricing, or availability. Review a destination's own terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Llano County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required before copying, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative material from that content.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages resulting from use of the site, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless against claims, demands, and legal proceedings arising from your use of the site or violation of these terms, including related costs and legal fees.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of this site must be brought in a court located within Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or terminate access to the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions remain in effect. The affected language will be adjusted only to the extent needed for enforcement.
